ASSISTING GREAT BRITISH CARNIVAL WITH COMMUNITY YOUTH WORKSHOPS, ARTS IN RAMSGATE

In preparation for Ramsgate Town celebrations of both the Jubilee weekend and Carnival weekend, I facilitated workshops, alongside The Great British Carnival, with children and adults with learning disabilities over three days for each event. We worked on creating pieces the children/adults could wear in the processions through the town, and worked on collaborative pieces that were featured within the carnival. On the Jubilee weekend, we facilitated over 150 people and on the Carnival weekend, we facilitated around 110 people.
