A LIGHT TRAIL SPANNING THE TOWN OF RAMSGATE

CURATION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

A light trail that spanned Ramsgate town, illuminating over 18 different windows across the high street with light installations or artworks incorporating light. Part of Ramsgate Lumiere festival that held 6 weeks of activations and culminated in a town parade. I helped to curate the light trail and helped produce and deliver 4 community windows, along with delivering workshops that contributed to the Winter Lantern Parade. 

I hosted workshops at Newington Chill Club, Happy Mondays Community Group, Girl Guides Thanet and Arts in Ramsgate and collaborated with the community on the design of the windows. 

The neon sea slug-inspired window was used as a feature image by BBC Kent News.
